Delegates to United Nation's NGO Conference
Emergency Meeting on Iraq
Wednesday, September 11th at 5 p.m.
Church Center, 1st Avenue and 44th Street
The entire world is frightened by the threat to invade Iraq by President George W, Bush. As NGO's devoted to the struggle for peace and justice, for negotiations not war, we must act to stop the march to war. An invasion of Iraq will lead to unimaginable consequences. Only a worldwide campaign involving peoples of all countries can stop it.
Time is short. We urge you to attend the meeting to share ideas on how we, in each country, can mobilize opposition to cooperation with a military solution.
Sponsored by: Fellowship of Reconciliation; Promoting Enduring Peace; US Peace Council; NGO Peace Caucus; etc., etc., etc.
